Our team has completed additional clinical training to deliver trusted advice, personalised treatment plans, and a growing range of wellbeing services tailored to your needs.

General Services

Immunisation

All our pharmacists are trained to provide Influenza and Whooping cough vaccinations. Appointment may be necessary.

Blood Pressure Testing

It is important to maintain a healthy blood pressure. If you are concerned your blood pressure may be high or low, or simply not feeling well pop into store and we can do a blood pressure reading

Diabeties Care

Our pharmacists can provide diabetes education in store and can also perform a Diabetes Medscheck to help you get the most out of your medicines. We are agents for NDSS and stock a wide range of products to help manage your Diabetes.

Medication Management

We offer a full range of options to help you manage your medication. From scripts on file, Medication Packing, Escripts, and script alerts we can take the stress out of managing your medication. We are also here to help when you come away on holiday and forgot your medication.

Home Deliveries

Its not always possible to get to the pharmacy so we offer a home delivery service by an enrolled nurse to our local area including; Mooloolaba, Kawana, Mountain Creek, Buderim, Maroochydore and Alexandra Headland.

Mental Health Services

We specialise in services to Mental Health units and work at removing the stigma surrounding it in the community. We work closely with The Mobile Outreach Team and Community Mental Health Maroochydore. We also participate in the Drug and Alcohol programme.

Urinary tract infection (UTI)

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common infection in the urinary system—usually the bladder—caused by bacteria, often leading to pain, burning when urinating, and frequent urges to go.

Health Conditions

Hay fever (allergic & nonallergic rhinitis)

Management of nasal inflammation due to allergic or non-allergic triggers. Symptoms may include itchy, red and watery eyes.

Acute wound management

Expert care and treatment for recent cuts, scrapes or injuries.

Mild, acute musculoskeletal pain

Management of acute inflammation and pain within joints, muscles or ligaments.

Acute Nausea and vomiting

Management for an uneasy feeling in the stomach that may lead to vomiting.

Atopic Dermatitis

Management of inflammatory skin conditions characterised by itching and redness.

Psoriasis

Management of mild patches of thickened, red skin with silvery scales.

Mild to moderate acne

Management of clogged or plugged hair follicles under the skin, which cause small to large bumps.

Reflux

Treatment for reflux or regurgitation of stomach acid.

School Sores

Management for a bacterial skin infection, Also known as school sores, causing red and itchy sores on the skin.

Shingles

Treatment for a skin rash characterised by pain and blistering sores which appear on one side of the body or face.

Ear Infections

Treatment for middle ear infection, typically causing ear pain and fever. Also, Management of inflammation of the outer ear canal, often associated with pain and discomfort.

Wellbeing Services

Hormonal contraception resupply

Accessing contraception can be difficult for women throughout New Sooth Wales, particularly due to challenges with primary healthcare availability. The Community Pharmacy Hormonal Contraception Pilot started in August 2024 and allows participating pharmacists to prescribe and resupply hormonal contraceptives for women and girls aged 16 and older without a doctor's appointment. Your participating pharmacist will conduct a thorough consultation to assess your needs and may suggest a range of contraceptive options. The contraceptives available through the pilot include: Oral medications: the combined oral contraceptive pill (excluding high estrogen doses) and the progesterone-only pill. Injected medication: depot medroxyprogesterone acetate. Contraceptive device: the combined hormonal contraceptive vaginal ring. If you and your pharmacist decide on an alternative contraceptive method best suits your needs, this may result in a referral to another healthcare provider.

Ever wanted to know more about your medicines? Our Pharmacists can help with either a Home Medication Review in the comfort of your own home or in store with a 30 minute Medscheck. We will discuss how your medication works, the correct storage, look for any drug interactions and advise on ways to improve your medication management.

Marine First Aid Kits

Mooloolaba Beach Pharmacy has been assisting the local fishing and prawning industry with Marine First Aid Kits since the 1980’s. This experience is invaluable, not only for the safety of our fishermen and women, but for their peace of mind. We are the only Sunshine Coast pharmacy accredited to provide and service Marine First Aid Kits and thus ensure boats comply with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s (AMSA) necessary requirements for survey. Safety at sea is a fundamental priority for our community. We take great pride in being able to provide and service of Marine First Aid Kits, which we clean, remove of out of date items and replace with all items needed to pass the survey. We are also the only pharmacy with the authority to supply medicines to ship captains without a prescription (according to their survey).

Mooloolaba Beach Pharmacy is proud to offer The Piercing Room, a safe and hygienic service for your piercing needs. With gentle, qualified staff and compliance to all Queensland Government infections control guidelines, The Piercing Room provides comfort and reassurance to what can be a painful procedure. - Lower lobe ear piercing is available on a walk-in basis 7 days a week. - Upper body piercing by appointment only. The Piercing Room stocks a large range of earings for sensitive ears and a beautiful array of fashion earings. Pop in to have a look!
